We have teamed up with the Forestry Commission to launch the 2010 photography competition. This year's theme is your 'dream' view of the New Forest.
Newest recruit  takes up his reins
  
Blackjack Bartie horseThe National Park Authority's newest recruit has just taken up his reins at the Fortune Centre of Riding Therapy.

'Blackjack' Bartie will be helping local children with physical disabilities to understand and improve their movement, balance and co-ordination as part of their weekly riding therapy sessions.

At the heart of the New Forest Centre in Lyndhurst is an oak tree so big that you can walk through it.
 
The new Family Fun Tree interactive display received funding from the National Park Authority and is now open to the public. Visit today!
Green is go for Authority travel
  
hybrid pool carNational Park Authority staff can opt for a greener way to travel thanks to a new hybrid pool car available for Authority business trips.
 
We estimate it will save around £12,000 in fuel costs and 6.6 tonnes of CO2 over the three year lease - reducing our total carbon emissions by 1%.
Coastal creatures unveiled
 
swan & cygnets at KeyhavenMeet some of the unusual and rare inhabitants of the New Forest coastline at the Lymington - Keyhaven nature reserve this Sunday.
 
There are fun activities for all the family, with guided walks, beach combing, stalls and talks by wildlife rangers.The third free Spring Wildlife Day is this Sunday 2 May, 11am - 4pm.
