Industry News

Lately we have been reworking showers that have mold problems. These problems are generally behind the shower door frame or over the shower curb. Most of the homeowners are using a latex caulking or a silicone. Both of these are moisture resistant but not waterproof and can allow water to get behind or into the walls causing damage. Regular grout or epoxy grout will help stop these leaks. With regular grout, make sure that a good sealer is used and multiple coats are applied.
