Don't Forget Dress Rehearsal!

 

 

Dress Rehearsal will be held in Williams Auditorium on WSSU campus.

 

Winston Salem: Thursday, June 23

High Point: Please see schedule for day/time

 

You may want to bring a drink & snack. There are no snack or drink machines in the auditorium.

 

If you need an extra copy of the Dress Rehearsal schedule please stop by the office.

Have you ordered your Recital DVD?

Please remember there will be NO flash photography or videotaping allowed during the performances. It can be very dangerous to our performers.

 

We will be accepting DVD orders at the Recital performances.

Winston Salem:

 

· Take Business 40 East to Exit 6-C Martin Luther King Jr. Dr./Winston-Salem State University. 

· Follow WSSU signs to stoplight. 

· Take a left on Martin Luther King Jr. Dr.

· Go to your next stoplight and take a left on Cromartie St.

· Williams Auditorium is on your Right (on corner)

· Parking is on your left & right

· Follow signs to entrance

 

High Point:

  

· Take Business 40 West to Exit 6-C Martin Luther King Jr. Dr./Winston-Salem State University. 

· Follow WSSU signs to stoplight. 

· Take a left on Martin Luther King Jr. Dr.

· Go to the second stoplight and take a left on Cromartie St.

 FINAL NOTES

  • There will be no 2010-2011 classes after the Recital.
  • If we don't see you over the summer at camp have fun and be safe!
  • We will see you August 1st when Fall 2011-2012 classes begin.
  • Our studios have limited summer hours, which will be posted on the doors in June, so you may stop by to register for 2011-2012 classes.

Greetings!

Greeting!

 

Recital is almost here-WOW! We are looking forward to a wonderful 11th annual performance. It's a busy & exciting time around Triple Threat School of Dance, Music & Acting studios.

 

Please remember all performers must attend Dress Rehearsal in order to perform in the Recital. Recital will be held Friday Night, Saturday Matinee & Night for our Winston Salem studio and Sunday Night for our High Point studio. If you haven't purchased or picked up your tickets, please stop by the office to do so. No tickets will be sold at WSSU and no one will be admitted without a ticket.

 

Please remember all your costumes, shoes, tights, make up and have your hair fixed as discussed in class for Dress Rehearsal and your Recital performances.

 

If you have any questions about Dress Rehearsal or Recital, please ask, we want your experience to be wonderful!

FINANCIAL HARDSHIP SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY

 

Forsyth Family Magazine in conjunction with Triple Threat School of Dance, Music & Acting will be offering a scholarship to a student for dance, music or drama lessons for 2011-2012 year. The student's family must be under financial hardship and complete an application and submit a 500 word essay.

.

If you would like to apply or know a family you would like to refer, please contact the office. The student must be a current Triple Threat student at our Winston Salem location.

 

Please complete an application and have your child write a 500 word essay on why they love taking lessons (dance, music or drama) and deserve the scholarship. All applications and essays must be submitted by June 15, 2011.

 

We will read through the essays and pick the top 5. The top 5 will be given to Forsyth Family representative to read through and select the winner. The winner will be announced at the 2011 Recital.

 

The winner will receive a scholarship for one year to be applied toward fees, monthly tuition and costumes.

Summer Camp

Ages 5-12 years

July 11-15 or July 25-29 (Winston Salem)

July 18-22 (High Point)

Half Days: 9:00am - 12:00pm

Full Days: 9:00am - 4:00pm

Dance, Musical Theatre, Drama, FUN! 

 

Technique Week

Ages 9 and up

July 18-22

Full Days: 9:00am-4:00pm

Learn how to master turns, jumps, leaps and tricks!

(Dance experience required)

 

Comedy/Improv Camp (NEW!)

Ages 7-11 yrs July 12 & 14 6-8pm

Ages 12 & older July 19 & 21 6-8pm

Actors will learn characterization, trust, teamwork, risk taking and skills to think quickly on their feet. Energetic, Fun, Creative Improv Games!
