After initially rejecting the delay the of the rate increases, Blue Shield announced that beginning February they would comply with Insurance Commissioner Jones' request to delay the rate increases
Commissioner Jones also requested rate reviews on medical malpractice insurance policies for doctors. Maybe this is the beginning of getting hospital and doctor charges under control.
