Have you scheduled your seasonal flu vaccine yet?
The Department of Public Health recommends that children ages 6 months- 24 years not only receive their seasonal flu vaccine but also the H1N1 (swine flu) vaccine. The H1N1 vaccine is due to arrive in Mid October and requires 2 doses. The seasonal flu vaccine will be distributed starting early September. So you might want to schedule an appointment with your doctor, for more information please visit the L.A. public health website
September is - Gynecological Cancer Awareness Month
If you have not gotten your annual check up, please make an appointment with your doctor.
