HMI's National Network of Tree Care Professionals provides Emergency Tree Work for Insurance Companies and their policy holders across the country
Cary, N.C. -- Over the last few weeks the country has experienced extreme weather from coast to coast. Damage caused by tree falls has plagued home owners and insurance companies have turned to HMI's national network of tree care specialists to assist their policy holders. Depending on the severity of the situation, HMI is able to dispatch a tree care expert to a property within a few hours of receiving a call. HMI currently has operations in 42 states and has over 2,000 tree crews in its network making it the only source capable of providing insurers with a national solution for professional tree care work, particularly emergency tree removals from homes.
"We not only have emergency response capabilities across the country but our tree care professionals are the best in the business," said Doug Malawsky, executive vice president and COO of HMI. "In the current economic environment a large number of substandard tree care service providers are preying on homeowners. When a homeowner has a large and unstable tree on their roof, the pressure to have it removed quickly often leads to hiring one of these unqualified companies. We operate a 24/7 hotline and we are able to place highly trained, insured and licensed tree care professionals on a property within hours. Insurance companies value not only the service that we are providing to their insureds but the money our tree care experts save them by doing a good job."
"My father had a large tree on his home in Southern New Jersey", explained Darin Chojnacki. "He was out of town and I have never used a tree care company before. My dad's insurance company contacted HMI and within a couple of hours an arborist was inspecting the damage even though there were still three feet of snow on the ground. The next morning a crane removed the tree and the crew tarped the holes in the roof. If HMI did not get involved I am not sure the job would have been completed before the next storm rolled in."
Members of HMI's network provide property owners with emergency tree work, risk mitigation services, tree repair and replacement services and all other services related to tree claims and tree damage recovery. Other services include reports to support subrogation actions, cause of loss analysis and replacement costs for lost trees and shrubs. Network members undergo a comprehensive credentialing process that includes insurance and license verification, professional and safety certifications, and work experience. |
