The National Leadership Symposium is a professional development experience designed for 2011 National Leadership Symposiumfaculty members, student affairs professionals and other educators involved with promoting college student leadership education. The program is coordinated by the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) and the National Clearinghouse for Leadership Programs (NCLP). The overall goal of the 2011 National Leadership Symposium is to envision how the future of leadership education can promote increasingly complex ways of being, knowing, and doing.

2012 Multi-Institutional Study of Leadership

Registration is still open for the 2012 Multi-Institutional Study of Leadership (MSL). The MSL is a national research program examining how the college environment contributes to student leadership development. Participating campuses receive comprehensive reports outlining outcomes achievement across several leadership-related constructs, rates of participation in key experiences (clubs and organizations, community service, leadership programs) and how they influence learning, and comparisons across outcomes with peer institutions and national data. Participation in MSL is a great way to document student learning, assess student needs, and justify resources. Contact
Dr. John Dugan at Loyola University Chicago if you have questions. More information is available at: www.leadershipstudy.net.
