What's New?
Grow Gallery welcomes Lee Marraccini's beautiful jewelry! Lee uses sterling silver, 14k and 18k gold and stunning gemstones to create his pieces. His philosophy is that jewelry should be "serious fun" for the wearer!

Grow Gallery also welcomes Lori Presthus art jewelry to the family! Lori's original artwork is rendered in Egg Tempera and pastels, printed to size with pigment based archival ink on acid free paper, then bezeled and coated with resin to make beautiful jewelry created from an original work of art.

Greetings!

With the Summer season in full swing, Grow Gallery is excited to announce that in a ceremony in Baltimore, MD on Tuesday July 12, 2011 Grow Gallery was honored with a NICHE Top Retailer Award for the catagory of BEST Artisan Owned Gallery!!!

Published by the Rosen Group, NICHE magazine was founded for the purpose of connecting art galleries and craft retailers with the finest wholesale crafts, handmade gifts and decorative art objects made in artist studios throughout the United States and Canada.

Each year NICHE sponsors the Top Retailer Awards, the highest recognition for art galleries carrying production and limited-edition craft works made in the United States and Canada. The NICHE Awards ceremony is held each year in conjunction with the Buyers Market of American Craft show.

HUGE thank you to NICHE and all of our artists, friends, and supporters who nominated us for this honor. We are thrilled to accept this award and could not have done this without you!

Sincerely,

Jonathan and Lesley Winfisky

"Why Shop Grow Gallery?"

Combining a one of a kind sense of style and 40 years of experience in the art market, my husband and I opened Grow Gallery with a fresh perspective on the concept of a gallery. Grow Gallery engages every sense from the moment you walk in the door, from the visually stunning glass installation by Winfisky, to the smell of cherry and cedar wooden works of art.

Once you begin to explore the high quality work, you will find that over 75% of the work in the gallery is hand crafted by artisans from the towns immediately surrounding scenic Shelburne Falls, MA. The commitment to local goes beyond just wanting to show American work, we prefer to show, as much as possible, work from our immediate community. Our philosophy behind this local support means to us that when we spend our dollar locally for food or supplies, we know that we will see that dollar come back to us when a gift is needed.

Our individual experience in the art world as artists, as well as our relationships with our artists, has lent us a unique perspective on what buyers want.  In a questionable economy, the ability to provide people with creations that are not just beautiful works of art, but are reasonably priced and have a function, is crucial. To give and collect something created by hand with care is still very much desired by many buyers.

So why shop Grow Gallery? ...Because ART is  still ALIVE! It just needs the right outlet to flourish, and we at Grow Gallery feel that as artisans running our own local craft gallery, we are committed to reminding a discouraged market that you don't have to empty your wallet to appreciate, and own a piece of your imagination.

Pottery by Jamie and Jim Kozlowski

"Ancient people used earth, fire, and water to create beautiful as well as practical objects and vessels to ease and enrich their lives. Among the oldest artifacts we have are pieces of fired clay that have endured for thousands of years.

We proudly carry on this tradition. We work to make each piece as functional as possible, providing its owner with the timeless beauty and joy that only an art object can." -  Jamie and Jim Kozlowski
