Welcome to the Crown King Community Association (CKCA) and our e-Newsletter

The Crown King Community Association Newsletter is an extension of the Crown King Website. The CKCA website is intended to be a formal information center for the community of Crown King. Additional services the CKCA provides are the enewsletter, an online process for voting and emergency email alerts.

You can also print this email, forward it to a friend, or view the web version through the link at the top.

We will also post all the newsletters and meeting notices in print version at the General Store. You can access all past archived newsletter issues and meeting notices, past and future, here.

To view meeting minutes from our quarterly and annual meetings, as well as board session minutes, go to the Minutes Page on the CKCA website or Click here.

If you are receiving our newsletters, surveys, and emails and would like to be REMOVED from our list click "SafeUnsubscribe" on the bottom of this newsletter.

For those of you who are signed up, please double check your Spam/Junk Mailbox to be sure your emails are not being moved into that box accidentally. Please contact us immediately if you find that this is happening.

For NEW MEMBERS, or persons wanting to subscribe to our town's monthly newsletter, please contact Peg Martin to be added to the list. We have removed the easy sign up box for security purposes.

It is imperative to make sure we have your correct email information.

How to do this: If you change your email or want to use/add a different one please contact Peg or use the "update profile/email address" link at the bottom of every email.
What has the CKCA and
Crown King been up to?

- Thank you Adam Knight for volunteering to help with the tech side of our website and newsletters!

- Membership: We ended 2009 with 162 members, so far in 2010 we are up to 120. See below for more details.

- The Crown King Community Survey is still open!
Many of you have opened but not completed your surveys. Remember that everybody in your household who is a CKCA member can complete the survey. Please contact Meara if you did not receive one or if it ended up in your Spam/Junk mailbox.
The purpose of the survey is to gather data from all property owners and all permanent residents of the Crown King Community. We need the data so we can have a record of what issues or concerns exist in our community. After the survey we will categorize the responses and rate the issues on importance. The data at this point can then be used to meet with County, State or Forest Service departments.

- IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT ALL PROPERTY OWNERS AND RESIDENTS PARTICIPATE IN THIS SURVEY! Only 29 of you have opened and filled out your survey. If you filled out your Census, you should also fill out your Crown King Community Survey. We need ALL residents & property owners to participate in this survey so we know where you stand on issues affecting your community right now! Please help encourage participation, without our community - the community association cannot move forward.

- Would you like to feature your business on our newsletters? Please see the FAQ page for details or contact Meara
