Wow, you are an incredible church! Your hearts to continually invite your friends and family to come check out New Hope has been outstanding. One young man recently shared with me how a co-worker he had been inviting for months finally came to church after seeing the Inspired Life segment on KHON2 and not only made a decision for Christ but also led his own family to all get baptized! Awesome! The evangelistic heart that each of you have has allowed New Hope Leeward to be recognized as one of the top 70 fastest growing churches in America for the last two years! Wooohoo!

As a result of our growing church 'ohana, we are so excited to launch our second Saturday worship service beginning this weekend at 6:45 pm! Saturday nights is the ultimate family night at New Hope Leeward because you will find a dynamic keiki program based on the AWANA curriculum, a new youth ministry called "24/7" and even a complete ono dinner for just $1 (love da pake special)! Our Saturday night service features the same passionate worship, creative elements, and inspiring Bible message as our Sunday morning services, but in a much more relaxed atmosphere. Come check it out this Saturday night and you may find yourself and your family loving it! This will also help open up some seats on Sunday morning for any newcomers from our community. So spread the word and keep inviting your friends and family to join us for this "COURAGEOUS SERIES: building a faith-filled family in a sin-filled world" at any of our six weekend service times: Saturdays at 5 and 6:45 pm; Sundays at 7, 8:30, 10 and 11:30 am.

Our New Hope Leeward Women's retreat this past weekend was a huge success! The ladies spent Friday night and Saturday morning at the beautiful Makaha Resort. What a blessing it was for our ladies to have an opportunity to refresh, revive and renew their spirits. I heard the 'Chocolate Fest' kept the ladies up all night long talking story with no sleep! My wife came home all glowing with a rejuvenated heart - I'm so grateful that our church has such incredible events!

Women's Retreat at Makaha Resort

Next on the retreat line-up for New Hope is our FUSE RETREAT! FUSE, the young adult ministry, is holding its annual Oasis Retreat this weekend on the North Shore. Let's pray for them as they draw closer to God in order to IMPACT the world for Jesus Christ.

AWANA Family Ministries

New Hope Leeward AWANA Family Ministries has bought a special matinée showing of the amazing movie "Courageous", Sunday, October 2nd at 4:20pm at the Ward Theater! The same people who gave us the movie "Fire Proof" are now releasing another fabulous movie inspiring families to be all God has called them to be; daring to raise a faith-filled family as Pastor Mike's current Courageous message series has shared with us all.  This movie is a very limited showing on the island and only can be seen at the Ward Theater!  Our Cost has been discounted to $8.50 a ticket!  Limited tickets will be sold in the foyer at the Courageous Banner!
