Mabuhay New Hope Leeward 'Ohana!

It's great to be back home from the Philippines!  

What an awesome week of meetings we had with influential leaders including the President of Foursquare Philippines and the President of Compassion International Philippines. We spent much time strategically developing our plan to plant more churches and train up more pastoral leaders throughout the Philippine islands for the generations to come through our newly formed worldwide missional extension of our church, New Hope Leeward International. Our heart is to partner with like-minded pastors from around the world to fulfill the Great Commission. We are finalizing plans for a tremendous leadership development mission from February 24 to March 5, 2012. We will be training upwards of 1,500 pastors that have an impact on nearly 20,000 children! I invite you to join me on this short-term mission experience....it will change your life! We are seeking teachers, prayer warriors, dancers, drama members, worship singers and logistical servants who will come with us to the Philippines to make an impact! The first mission meeting is this Sunday, September 11 at 1:30 pm in our mini auditorium - come get the details and get inspired!

As God continues to grow our influence internationally, He is also growing our church family here in Hawaii. In fact, New Hope Leeward will be adding our 6th weekend service time at our Leeward Ministry Center! Wooohoo! We will be launching a second service at 6:45 pm on Saturday evenings beginning September 17th. Saturday night services offer a more relaxed experience with the same powerful worship, inspiring creative elements and relevant message as the Sunday morning services. My favorite part of Saturday night services is the $1 complete dinners where it allows time to fellowship and the opportunity to get to know others in our church family. Check out Saturday night service and see if it's a good fit for your family. It may be also a super option to attend one service and volunteer for another!

This weekend we will be talking about COURAGEOUS PARENTING as we continue in our COURAGEOUS series. Invite all of the parents you know to join you for this message so that we can all grow healthier faith-filled families!

Mission Philippines 2012: Equipping Leaders in the P.I.

Want to impact thousands of people in the Philippines? Pastor Mike Lwin will be leading a team to the Philippines at the end of February 2012. We will host three leadership conferences in Manila, Cebu and Laoag. These conferences will impact over 1,400 local church pastors, ministry leaders and over 20,000 children who are sponsored by Compassion International.
