De
-barrel, blend...Alex and Alexa tasting the blend with winemaker Kevin
In February Beltane Ranch Sauvignon Blanc was de-barreled and  blended in stainless steel tanks to be fined and cold-stabilized prior to bottling. TDebarreling Beltane WineBeltane Barrelshis was our first opportunity to taste the final blend from the new and neutral oak barrels and.......it is exceptional.  Bright, lively, crisp and complex. Luckily, beyond our biased opinions, we've received outstanding responses from our wine-making team and a few expert friends of the ranch.

GAlexa and Alex with new Beltane corkslass, Labels, Corks, Capsules...
After months or even years of agonizing over packaging decisions, all the components are finally in place! Alexa and Alex show off our first bag of real corks, fire-branded with our Beltane tree logo and our inaugural vintage year "2009."  Our labels are printed and embossed featuring Dennis Ziemienski's painting of the ranch house. The domestic glass bottles and tin capsules were all ready to go down the bottling line this morning.
