Rainwater Harvesting ~ A School Harvests Rainwater with The Original Rainwater Pillow

A 3,100 gallon custom Original Rainwater Pillow is installed in the crawl space of a classroom building. The collected water will be used to irrigated the organic garden and for other non-potable uses around campus.

Project Profile                                   Residence in Ontario Canada

This client lives in a remote area in Canada where there is not a municipal water supply to the home. Per the client's request, we designed a rainwater harvesting system to be installed in phases.
Peters

The first phase of the project was to install the 3,300 gallon custom size Original Rainwater Pillow in the home's crawl space to store potable water supplied by a local water truck. In the second phase, the client will begin collecting rainwater and filtering it for potable use in the home. Since the pillow is installed in a conditioned crawl space, freezing is not an issue or concern.
