Dear Friend of Canyon Ranch Institute,
For 10 years, Canyon Ranch Institute has collaborated with partners and friends like you to educate, inspire, and empower people to prevent disease and embrace a life of wellness. As we look ahead to our next decade, we're expanding our mission-driven programs. One CRI focus area is Southern Arizona, and coming up October 4, CRI will co-sponsor the Tucson screening of an important new documentary developed by the Institute of Medicine and HBO in association with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institutes of Health: "The Weight of the Nation: Children in Crisis."
Our hosts for the evening are Tucson pediatrician Dr. Jessica Schultz and Grow 2B Fit, a non-profit organization that provides information, support, and education to help families live healthier and happier lives. CRI is co-sponsoring the screening with Tucson Medical Center and TMC for Children to help Grow 2B Fit raise funds to renovate the teaching kitchen at Tucson's Apollo Middle School. I hope you'll participate in this event by attending or donating via grow2bfit.org.
In Good Health,

Jennifer Cabe, M.A.
Executive Director and
Board Member
