Write your own PAL macros in PAL Control for Chemstation

Did you know that you can unlock macro-editing capability with a software update from CTC? The software integrates with the CTC PAL Control for MSD ChemStation and allows you to edit or create your own macros (cycles). Contact us for more information and assistance with editing cycles.

Evolution Triple Quad now even more sensitive!

Chromsys is proud to announce that the Evolution Triple Quad upgrade for Agilent 5973 and 5975 systems has recently been updated. Several hardware and software improvements make it now even more sensitive. Our top-of the-range EI MS/MS specification of S/N>100:1 for 100 fg of OFN for the 272>222 transition ensures superb sensitivity in even the toughest matrices.
Inside evo
Background: The Evolution is a seamless upgrade of the Agilent 5973 and 5975. Advantages include: Far superior signal-to-noise ratios; remarkable specificity for target analytes in complex matrices; the same reliability as the base system; the same source and Triple Axis detector (in the case of newer 5975's) which translates into identical maintenance. Available modes: Full Scan, SIM, SRM (MRM), Product or Precursor Ion Scan and Neutral Loss.  Upgrading takes about one day, with an additional two days set aside for optimization and training.  If you would like to learn more about the Evolution and how it could help you in your lab, feel free to talk to our team of skilled technicians and chemists.

Convert your HTS/HTC PAL for Headspace Use!

PAL

Chromsys regularly converts HTS or HTC PAL autosamplers to CombiPAL configuration. This increases the versatility of your autosampler since you add headspace analysis to its array of capabilities. The conversion is available for all CTC, Gerstel and LEAP systems. Call us to discuss.

Do you struggle with matrix interference?

Evo small

Do you use GC-MS and often find yourself struggling with interference from your sample matrix? Inconsistent ion ratios or unsatisfactory LOD's? If so, you may greatly benefit from converting your Agilent 5973 or 5975 mass spectrometer to an Evolution Triple Quadrupole instrument. The conversion is called the EvolutionTM and is manufactured in Germany by our parent firm Chromtech GmbH. Transitioning is easy: The user still uses Chemstation to create methods (an extra dialog window is added for MS parameters) and Agilent ChemstationTM or MassHunterTM Data Analysis is used to process results. In reality, the EvoDriver software controls the hardware. It is also used for method development. Several application notes are on our website www.chromsys.com, the newest of which is about the pesticides Aldrin, Dieldrin and Endrin, spiked at trace levels into canola oil, a notoriously tricky matrix to work with.  (See chromatogram above to the left).
