7890 GC What Maintenance?
Do you know when to change what on your GC? The new 7890 GC even tells you when you reach that point. Obviously you know that you need to change the liner, but how about that o-ring around the liner? How often does this need to be replaced?
Have you ever changed you split-vent filter? Do you know how often that needs to be changed?
 
Gold Seal Change Frequency
- Liner -- volume dependent, but at least once a week
- Liner o-ring -- volume dependent, but at least once a month
- Septa -- purely volume dependent
- Gold plated seal with washer -- Volume dependent, but at
   least once a month
- Ferrule -- as needed
- Column -- as needed
- Split vent filter -- every 6 months
