That's right it's school Carnival Time! So come support your Metro Dance performers. Sorry, since time is very limited, not all classes will be performing so ask your instructor.
 
All performers must be at the stage, in costume and ready to perform a half hour before listed performance time above.

Well it's November all ready and Turkey day is almost here. We are very proud of all of our performers over the past couple of weeks at the Lindbergh Schweitzer and Lafayette School Carnivals even when dancing on concrete they still kept smiling!
 
Also, just as a reminder the Holiday performances usually start the first weekend in December so be ready it is coming up quick!

Skedaddle Fundraisers
Cookie Dough, Fruit Pie & Cheesecake 
Well it's cookie dough time again so don't forget to pick up your packet from the information table located in the Metro Dance lobby.
 
We are doing a Cookie Dough, Fruit Pie & Cheesecake fundraiser to help you pay for your competition and/or costumes & recital fees. The best part is you keep the profit! Seriously! You hold on to the profit!
 
Here's How It Works:
You collect $15 per item you sell
You pay Metro $9 per item sold
(Please make one check payable to Metro Dance)
You keep $6 per item sold
 
Order Due Date: November 1st
All orders must be turned into the Metro Dance office no later than Saturday, November 1st. Late orders will not get filled.
 
Order Pick Up: Saturday, November 15th
All orders must be picked up on Saturday, November 15th. If you can not pick it up personally, please make arrangements to have a friend or family member pick it up for you. All items are perishable and should be kept cold and can be refrozen once defrosted. Metro Dance has very limited refrigerator space and will not be able to hold cookie dough overnight. Sorry!

Pacific Coast Talent Competition
CANCELED!
The competition scheduled for November has been canceled due to lack of interest in San Diego.

Starbound Talent Competition
December 14th Competition fees are now due
  • Small/Large Groups = $33 per person
  • Solo's = $80 per dance
  • Duo/Trio = $90 per dance                             (divide by number of dancers)
  • Photogenic = $25 (each additional Photo = $5) Outstanding Costume = $25 
 2009 Competition Season

The 2009 Competition Team Member Handbook and Schedule is now being distributed.If you have not received one please ask your Instructor or the Office Staff.Once you read the Handbook, please fill out the last page with the Student and Parent Signature's then turn it into your Instructor. A separate email will go out with the 2009 Competition Schedule. 

Just wanted to let you know for the 2009 Competition Season we are thinking about doing finals in Las  Vegas this year. Doesn't that sound like fun!
