Note From Kelly:

Hello!

I seem to always begin my note to you about how fast the time is flying by. So...can you believe Thanksgiving is next week?? Here come the Holiday's! This time of year we turn most of our attention to getting ready for the Holidays. In my decorating hints and tips below, I listed a few quick and simples ideas for you to use as inspiration for your Thanksgiving table. Even if you are not hosting this year, you should still have a beautiful table for yourself!

I have been very busy with color consultations lately. The more I am doing, the more I love it! Selecting the perfect wall color in a room is not difficult, but so important for the overall look and feel of the room.

Have a very safe, healthy and

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Until next time: Happy Decorating!

Simple Thanksgiving Tablescapes:

Take everything off your dining table first. Do you have a favorite tablecloth you like to use? Or maybe a special table runner? If not, I have found that if you use a beautiful white tablecloth as a foundation, it leaves plenty of room for flexibility and creativity for you to change the overall look with every season.

Next, you should set the place settings on the table so you can see how much room you will have to decorate the center of table. The easiest set I have found to work with for all occasions is a charger, a large dinner plate, smaller dinner plate and a pretty cloth napkin and to lay across the top:

Isn't it such a beautiful look and it is so easy!

Then you can lay out your glassware and silverware. For an easy guide where utensils should go on the table, read here.

There is not usually much room for a centerpiece after the Thanksgiving food dishes come out, so make it simple and special:

I think it is the attention to detail that makes the table special. I hope this gave you a little more confidence in being able to make your own beautiful, unique Thanksgiving table. It does not have to be a stressful project if you plan a little early. Note to self- that includes you Kelly!
