Note from Kelly
Can you believe it is December already?  Unbelievable.  I am excited for the Holiday's but my to do list is growing.  Trying not to stress! :)  When every dollar seems to count right now, I have simplified many of my pre-holiday tasks.  Instead of exchanging gifts with my friends, we are treating ourselves out  for dinner;  I am not buying a lot of 'filler' gifts for the kids this year; and really taking a better look at what I already own to use such as dinnerware, decorations and even spices in the pantry.  It's all about 'Using-What-You-Have.'  Shop your home for items to reinvent new ways to utilize.

Magic of Paint - Choosing Wall
Colors for Your Home.

Although the Holiday Season is not a time many people are thinking of updating their living room or bedroom, I am not one of those people.  I truly decorate and redesign all year round because I enjoy it so much.  I am always looking for that next project.  But since I do not have a lot of money in my decorating budget (or any budget for that matter), the one project I can usually always afford is painting.  NOTHING can change a room so quickly and inexpensively as a fresh coat of paint on the walls.  Over the years I have found one of the most difficult decorating dilemmas clients are faced with is choosing a paint color.  So I came up with the idea of a video to show homeowners how to learn Where to begin the paint color selection process and How to find the right color using their existing furnishings.  It is not a difficult process.  There are certain questions your must ask yourself before you can even begin your project.  I have put these questions and all of my experience, knowledge, ideas and suggestions and secrets in this video to help you learn how to select colors yourself.  I even included bloopers for your enjoyment!
I hope you will enjoy watching and want to share with others.  I know you will learn a lot.  Any questions or comments would be very welcome!  Purchase through PayPal below, on my website www.isredesign.com or through Amazon.com.   Thank You!!

Holiday Decorating Tips
Just a couple quick ideas for easy, beautiful, inexpensive decorating:

Fill glass bowls and large vases with  colored Christmas balls.  Use all one color(very dramatic) or a variety of colors.

A tip I read from a fellow IRN member, Carole Willard: Inexpensive burlap makes a great table runner.  Give the burlap some twists and turns, mix in some greenery and candles for a beautiful centerpiece.  Or make a tree skirt using about 6 yards of fabric.

Fresh fruit, all the same color, displayed in bowls is also a pretty accent piece. Granny Smith apples, limes, lemons, cranberries, oranges, etc. Or add fresh greens with the fruit in a basket as a centerpiece.

Another  quick, beautiful idea-  cut two different types of green branches, mix with red berry branches.  You can really use your imagination for different types of containers to use.  Christmas Decoration

I took two tall vases, added gold Christmas balls on bottom, brought in cut tree branches to stand up and then added a few balls to hang.  Easy & inexpensive.
Wishing you joy in your home and peace in your world throughout the Holiday's and always.  Have a Safe and Happy Holiday Season!                                         Kelly
