Greetings!

Life can be hard, interesting, joyful, surprising, frustrating, amazing and most of all, unpredictable. Our inability to know everything leaves opportunities for aha moments, growth and shear courage. When one door closes, another one swings wide open with a chance to reawaken our desire to create, recreate and step into bigger shoes. It shakes our foundation a bit when plan A is no longer the plan and plan B isn't either. What if plan C is the far better plan than A or B? It could be the plan that reconnects your head, heart and your soul. All are in alignment. C is the path to recovery.

When Plan C is Better Than A or B

If you asked me 30 years ago (when I was 2)what my plans for life were, I would have come up with a pretty defined description of  the A path with no real surprises, tidy, neat and unrealistic.  But I have lived a little and have come to know that life is not that neat.  It is not fair, but I am okay with that because the cost of living an interesting life is to take the good with the bad.  Choice lives in this bumpy, imperfect, but wonderful space.  It is making choices that allow us to navigate to new opportunities stepping past insecurity, fear and doubt.  Being flexible with our journey allows us to make changes as we go along.  It allows us to see past A and B to see C for the shining gem that it is.

I know, I know.  Change is not easy.  Some times change occurs as a result of us getting a push to move over, move on or move out.  Ouch.  After you get passed the 'really, really' and the flood of a thousand emotions, save some of your energy to say 'what now'.  That statement is the step to what's possible.  What's possible, leads to action.  Action leads to plan C.  C is not less than A or B.  It is the gift from both.

"I have accepted fear as a part of life -

specifically the fear of change...

I have gone ahead despite the pounding in the heart that says: turn back..."

- Erica Jong
