PachaMama started the year in Silence, dancing around a sacred fire, sending tobacco and cacao flavored blessings and prayers to all our relations. The village surfed the first week of 2012 blissfully, getting organized for the weeks, months and year ahead. The tribe carried the Silence into the White Night, a 200-person ceremony that was soft, gentle, deep and harmonious.
PachaMama Eco is thrilled to launch the 6th pillar of work, bringing more attention and focus to living in harmony with nature, moving the village towards increased self-sustainability, permaculture and homegrown super foods. A dynamic team is running the project since last year, and already 1636 trees, 1760 pineapples and 500 nopal cactus have been planted alongside greens and super food roots... and this is only the beginning.
Just around the corner is the River Festival, a week-long musical mystical journey with top quality DJs, musicians and puppets!
