Add A Theme Video available
A new feature available in the 4D Embroidery software is the capability to add personal Themes to the Color Selection dialog. Adding a new Theme allows you to quickly find the part of the color spectrum that you are looking for when making a color change.
This is done in the Thread Manager section of 4D Configure and it's easy to do, once you know how. You can view the Add A Theme video by clicking here

Free Downloads
All of our 3D books contained a chapter on computer skills. After writing our first 4D book, I decided to eliminate that material from all future books and make it available to everyone as a free download on my web site. Recently, I redesigned my web page and the old address shown in my earlier books as the location for these files changed. I corrected that reference on the new web site and created a new location for these files.

| I need your help!
Someone who is a multi-brand dealer sent me an email asking about a problem that she and her customers are having when they save a file from the 4D software in Janome format. I had to work through several computer-related hardware and software issues in the last 10 days and I lost this person's email address. That's the bad news. The GOOD NEWS is that my contacts in London (the software developers) are VERY INTERESTED in this issue and they want me to get back in touch with this dealer immediately. So, if you are this person, please send me an email IMMEDIATELY and I will have some VERY INTERESTING news for you.

What's Coming In September?
I am in the process of re-designing my website a litttle. I want to create a new page for free videos only and I plan on grouping them into categories to make finding what you need easier. I am also working on a way to include full motion videos like the ones you see on various websites but these videos will be oriented toward machine specific things like how to use the Endless Hoop. Who knows, I might even appear in the video. I'm trying to get Mrs. Patience to star in the video but only time will tell how we will shoot it.
