Projects for New Book
Here is a sneak peek at our newest book!
Everything is really coming together for our new book, set for release in July 2009. Thanks to the many readers who submitted questions and ideas for the new book. Some of the suggestions and questions were for things that I have already covered in my previous books and I responded to those questions directly. Some people submitted requests for topics that will be covered in this new book.
Here is a list of items and projects that will be covered in this new book. This list is not all inclusive. I will be releasing more information next month.

- Basic coverage of 4D Sketch
Many readers have asked for a book on these two modules. However, neither of these particular modules contain enough features and tools that warrant a full book. Well, I have heard your requests and I plan to provide some basic instruction in these modules in this new book.
If you are still thinking about something to send in for this new book, please feel free to do so. It's not to late to make a submission.
If we use your idea for one of the projects, then I will send you an autographed copy of this new book before it goes out for general distribution and sales. You will be one of the first people in the country (possibly the world) to have a copy of this new book. So put on your thinking caps and send in those requests.

| New Video Presentation Available
This month's video will cover accurate resizing of embroidery designs. When you are changing the size of an embsoidery design, it is important to remain close to both a MAXIMUM increase of only 20% in size or a MAXIMUM decrease of only 20% in size. The real question is how can you accurately make this kind of increase or decrease in design size by a factor of only 20%? This short video will show you how to keep your resizing within these limits.

Free Downloads
All of our 3D books contained a chapter on computer skills. After writing our first 4D book, I decided to eliminate that material from all future books and make it available to everyone as a free download on my web site. Recently, I redesigned my web page and the old address shown in my earlier books as the location for these files changed. I corrected that reference on the new web site and created a new location for these files.

All of the our books that cover the 4D Embroidery software system sold exclusively through authorized Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff dealers in the United States and Canada. However, if you are located outside of the united States and Canada, I am authorized to sell these books directly to the consumer.
Because our books that cover the 3D software are no longer carried by Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff dealers, then I am allowed to sell copies of these books directly to the consumer. I have a limited number of Essentials of 3D Embroidery Studio, and Basic Digitizing. Some local dealers may also have copies of these books still in stock. I strongly recommend that you support your local dealers by purchasing these books from them whenever possible.
