Urban Arts Outdoors in the Columbus Commons
|  Wednesday, June 15th 10:30am to 2pm We are excited to work in partnership with the Columbus Downtown Development Corporation for the Urban Arts Outdoors - an open air gallery on the grounds of the new Columbus Commons park. We'll have student and alumni artwork on display and for sale at our booths.

| Urban Monthly Mix Exchange: Fist Pump! |  Thursday, June 16th 7 to 8pm Love sharing and making CD mixes? Join our mix tape community! Urban Monthly Mix Exchange is a program for the community to mingle, become exposed to new musical artists and exchange mix CDs with fellow music enthusiasts. This month's theme will be "Fist Pump!"
Please bring a copy of your mix, accompanied by a complete CD information sheet. Guests will also submit and vote for next month's mix theme. The person with the winning theme will receive a $30 gift certificate for local goodies! Digital Video Workshop: Editing
|  Saturday, June 18th 11am to 2pm Join us each Saturday this June to learn about digital video recording. During this workshop, we will be discussing the editing process. The discussion will include what different types of editing software are available, basic functions in each, and how editing choices influence your final product.

Thursday, June 23rd, 6 to 8pm Monthly Anime Adventure: Villains in Anime This Monthly Anime Adventure will discuss the biggest "baddies" in anime, and how they came to stand above the rest. Monthly Anime Adventure is a series of talks, discussions and multimedia events all centered on Japanese animation. Free and open to all.
Saturday, June 25th, 11am to 2pm Digital Video Workshop: Show Your Work During the final workshop, participants are encouraged to show the short video projects that they created during the workshops. Art in the House CLOSES THIS WEEK Tuesday, April 12th through Saturday, June 18th |
The Art in the House exhibition displays an eclectic array of artwork produced by children participating in the Greater Columbus Arts Council's Art in the House program. Using the Frank Museum of Otterbein College's Ceremonial Objects & West African Artifacts exhibition as a point of inspiration, the young artists worked with the support of four master teaching artists to create works of art that are directly influenced by cultural objects from around the world.

Enlisting the help of writer Ryan Williams and artist Sarah Blyth-Stephens, Nothing is Very Complicated contains humorous and endearing pieces centered on wordplay.

Accessible Expressions Ohio

The Accessible Expressions Ohio visual art exhibit and tour began in 1996. This program provides professional development opportunities for artists to create, exhibit and sell their art. Additionally the exhibition raises awareness of all abilities by presenting art by people with disabilities in inclusive settings. The OSU Urban Arts Space is proud to be one stop on the statewide tour in 2011.
VSA Ohio is a statewide service organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities, creatively and inclusively, through the arts. VSAO is an affiliate of the international network, VSA, and presents programming in education, professional development, access, and outreach.

Spirit of an Appalachian Region: Contemporary Artists Reflect on Southeast, Ohio

The unique spirit of southeastern Ohio-as shaped by its geography, history and people-will emanate from this exhibition, juried and brought to the OSU Urban Arts Space by Majestic Galleries. With an open call for entries from artists of southeastern Ohio, this exhibition will bring to Columbus works from a region that is rich with character and artistry.
