Rooftop Garden Tour

We offer tours of the Lazarus Building rooftop gardens the first
Tuesday of every month.
Guests will get an inside look at our current exhibitions
and learn about the many green aspects of our organization, then
complete the tour with a trip up to the beautiful rooftop gardens with
the Lazarus Building Manager, Robert Turrin.

the OSU Urban Arts Space. For the first time, the Space plays host to
some of the most epic Rock Band performances ever witnessed...yours! Rock Band
players of all skill levels are welcome, so grab a friend and come
experience this unique and exciting game first-hand.

City Center at the OSU Urban Arts Space

 Call for entries from local emerging artists:
City Center at the OSU Urban Arts Space is an opportunity for local
emerging artists to display their art and launch their careers. One
proposal per month will be given a $500 grant, and use of the corridor space at
the entrance of the OSU Urban Arts Space.
By providing an exhibition
space and funding, City Center hopes to
foster the development of the independent, creative, and
forward-thinking community in Columbus, Ohio.

Fifty design students will be displaying their work in this annual exhibition,
representing more than ten weeks of research and development. This
exhibition is the culmination of their design experience at The Ohio
State University.

BFA Senior Projects Exhibition Reception
Enjoy the closing reception for the Department of Art Bachelor of Fine Arts Senior Projects Exhibition, which presents the work of 52 graduating art majors working in a wide range

CAVAS Meeting
The OSU Urban Arts Space hosts the bi-monthly CAVAS (Columbus Area
Visitor and Audience Studies) gathering. This month's agenda includes a

2010 Arts Scholars Juried Exhibition
February 23rd through June 12th, 2010

The 2010 Arts Scholars Juried Exhibition features work from
high-achieving students in the Arts from all years of study who share a
joint interest in the Arts, including music, visual arts, design,
dance, and theatre. Students major in many areas across campus,
including many non-Arts majors.
Giving students an opportunity to experience the jurying
process and the hanging and promoting of a professional exhibit, this show has traveled, over the past four years, from campus to the
Short North to downtown.

The Department of Art Bachelor of Fine Arts Senior Projects Exhibition
presents the work of 52 graduating art majors working in a wide range
of media and approaches. The projects reveal ambitious bodies of work
developed during their course of study in areas such as art and
technology, ceramics, glass, painting and drawing, photography,
printmaking, and sculpture.
This exhibition is co-located on two sites,
the Hopkins Hall Gallery, at 128 N. Oval Mall on campus, and the OSU
Urban Arts Space.
