Call for Entries: Visualizing the Experiences of War
Deadline: May 15th

Idea Lab presents the Visualizing the Experiences of War Exhibition
featuring artworks inspired by an Iraq and/or Afghanistan war veterans'
story. The works will be on display at The Ohio
State University's Urban Arts Space from August through October 2010.
During the creation of this exhibition, artists and veterans will be paired, and the veteran will share his or
her personal story. The personal stories will not be recorded or
displayed, only shared privately between the artist and the veteran.
The artist will then create a piece of work reflecting his or her
impression of the veteran's story for the exhibition.
For Artists: Any medium is welcomed, and completed art will be expected by mid-July.
For Veterans: Deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom or Operation Enduring Freedom, and willing to share story with artist by early June.
