The English Reformation

Thursday, April 8th 6:30 to 7:30pm Join us as Kathy Simcox leads the first of seven discussions of a free discussion-based course which traces
the development of the Reformation, from the Wars of the Roses to the
reign and death of Queen Elizabeth I.
Participants will gain comprehensive knowledge about the Reformation
period and English history. The course will provide additional details
on events leading up to the Reformation, The Wars of the Roses, the
Tudor Dynasty, Martin Luther's influence, information about the Bible,
doctrinal differences between Catholic and Protestant beliefs, the
reign of Elizabeth I, and much more!

Family Health Discussion and Product Testing
|
Saturday, April 10th Noon to 1pm
Stephanie Owens, a senior student in Ohio State's design program, leads
an open discussion on forming healthy habits within a family. Come and tell us about your child's or your family's everyday eating and exercising habits.
The discussion will end with an open review of product
prototypes designed to help form healthy habits in children and their
families.
NOTE: This is not a lecture on how to be healthy, but rather a discussion on how different people eat and exercise for design research. All comments are welcome! Please RSVP to uas@osu.edu

2010 Arts Scholars Juried Exhibition February 23rd through June 12th, 2010
|
The 2010 Arts Scholars Juried Exhibition features work from
high-achieving students in the Arts from all years of study who share a
joint interest in the Arts, including music, visual arts, design,
dance, and theatre. Students major in many areas across campus,
including many non-Arts majors.
Giving students an opportunity to experience the jurying
process and the hanging and promoting of a professional exhibit, this show has traveled, over the past four years, from campus to the
Short North to downtown.
