All are invited to join us at the OSU Urban Arts Space as we host The Young Professionals of Columbus (YPC) Annual Meeting. The meeting is an opportunity for networking, information from the YPC board, member voting for the 2009-2010 board and the presentation of YPC's first annual Distinguished Citizen Award.

Joy Divisions Columbus Metropolitan Library | 96 S. Grant Street | Downtown Columbus

Thursday, June 4th 2 to 7:30pm Housed on the grounds of the Columbus Metropolitan Library, this exhibition and outdoor listening party explores the band Joy Division and the Nazi sex slave camp of the same name. The exhibition is free, open to all and includes dinner at 6:30pm. 9:30pm to 2am Following the exhibit there will an afterparty at Skylab Gallery, 57 E. Gay Street, just blocks from the Columbus Metropolitan Library. Slated to start at 9pm, this event will showcase a variety of music inspired by Joy Divisions. $5

GCAC 2009 Columbus Arts Festival

Volunteers Needed June 5th, 6th & 7th Discovery District Friday to Saturday 11:30am to 10pm Sunday 11:30am to 6pm
The OSU Urban Arts Space needs volunteers! We will be participating in the GCAC 2009 Columbus Arts Festival: a combination of fine artists, craftspeople, live musical performances, food, hands-on art activities, and more.
We are looking for volunteers who would like to share their special talents at our booth. Perhaps you are great at hula hooping, face painting, or origami, or maybe you would like to conduct a demonstration or sing a few songs. If you would like to participate or want to know more, please contact us.

The Department of Art Bachelor of Fine Arts Senior Projects Exhibition presents the work of 35 graduating art majors working in a wide range of media and approaches. This exhibition is co-located on two sites, the Hopkins Hall Gallery, 128 N.Oval Mall on campus, and the OSU Urban Arts Space, enabling the students to present ambitious bodies of work.
The Exhibition is sponsored by the Department of Art, the Colleges of the Arts and Humanities, funded by a grant from the Efroymson Fund, a CICF Fund and supported by the John Fergus Family Fund.
