One unique aspect of Rush Soccer being a nation wide organization, is that from time to time, top Rush players from around the country get the opportunity to partake in 'Rush Select Team' events.

One of the objectives of our international partner AJ Auxerre (AJA) is to have first access to players within our Rush clubs. In 2010, AJA is sponsoring a '92/93 Rush Select Team' to visit France on Aug 12-23, where they will train with AJA Coaches, play against AJA teams and compete in the French Bouligny Tournament.

Florida Rush is proud to announce that Bryce Follensbee  (93 Nike) and Cody Uzcatequi (92 Nike) have been invited and will be joining the Rush Select Team this year. Nicholas Melo was also identified, however he's unable to attend because of his U17 National team commitments.

"Auxerre sponsors this trip to France because they're looking for professional players" said Technical Director Marcos Machado, "this is a legitimate opportunity for our Rush players to be seen by a French Ligue 1 professional club, so we're very excited to have Bryce and Cody representing Florida Rush."

U18G Swoosh Team

April 10, 2010 - Florida Rush U18G Swoosh team coached by Sal Conigliaro took home the 2010 Presidents Cup Championship. Playing a tough Winter Haven Kicks team on Sat, Rush had to battle through two over-time periods to win the game 1-0.

Headed to the championship, Rush prepared to face the Venice Falcons with only 12 players available on game day. With the score 0-0 at half time, Rush came out strong in the second half and Trycha Farrell scored the game winning goal just minutes before the water break.

Congratulations to all the girls and coach Sal on a great finish to the season!
