 Rush College Advisory Program
Did you know... that there are over 100 men's college soccer programs at four year institutions in the Southeastern United States alone? Did you know... that there are over 130 women's college soccer programs at four year institutions in the Southeastern United State alone? Do you know... what the difference is between Division I, Division II, Division III, and NAIA? Do you know... what the college coaches are looking for?

Student Volunteer of the Year
|

Zachary W. Shafer
When club soccer is
in season, Zack easily devotes 15 hours weekly to the game, including training
3-4 times a week and games on the weekends. Once Club soccer ends, Zack is the proud team captain of the
JV soccer team at Dr. Phillips High School, which again takes about 15 hours
per week from his routine and academic schedule. To this vigorous soccer
schedule, add in about 5 volunteer hours per week, and you have a true role
model for young children just beginning the love of the game.

Florida Rush Adult League
|
 Starting in January 2010
Florida Rush is excited to announce a new partnership with Soccer Orlando. Together, the Florida Rush Adult Soccer League will be kicking off their first season of play in January 2010. In addition to supporting existing adult soccer players, the Florida Rush Adult Soccer League will provide our older athletes an opportunity to keep playing soccer and will support our youth programs at the same time.

Before You Scream At A Referee...
|
 By Donna Olmstead
Sometimes as I slouch down in my lawn chair watching my grandchildren's soccer games, I indulge in wishful thinking. Only skillful, focused players on the field. Only knowledgeable, supportive parents on the sidelines. Only coaches who remember the bottom line is character development and not just winning games. Only top-notch officials running the lines and the field. Never going to happen. Like I said - wishful thinking.
