Attention Kaamaina! All New Kohala Dive club is Being Formed Just For You!!
 By popular request we are forming a dive club in Kohala and we want your input on what you would like to see in your club!! Bill Coney a North Hawaii resident and avid diver will be the clubs director for its first year and Kohala Divers will be working close beside him to give you the best dive club that we can. We have some great ideas for organizing ocean clean up events, barbeques, new gear demo's, club member only boat dive exploration dives and more. This will be a great way to meet new dive buddies and learn more about the area of diving that interest you most. Our first club meeting will be on Friday September 16th 5:30 PM at Kohala divers and everyone is welcome! bring your families and friends, divers and non divers. We will have pupu's , beer and other refreshments. That night you can sign up for a free membership for our club, weigh in on what you would like to see the club do, help with name suggestions for our club and enjoy a 10% discount on every item in the store that night only. There is a new sportfishing boat that lives in Kawaihae. Many have inquired when we would have a new boat available and when they could fish with Greg and Bob again, well the time is now!! We welcomed the Australian built blackwatch sportfisher "Patience" to Kawaihae just last month. She is a 34' twin diesel with a fly bridge. It has an enclosed head, shaded deck and is equipped with the latest navigation and fish finding equipment. The type of fishing we specialize in is sustainable species such as mahi mahi, ono, ahi and skip jack tuna. Call Kohala Divers to sign up for a 1/2 day, 3/4 day or full day charter.
