Join Kohala Divers Saturday September 25th as we sponsor our annual beach and ocean cleanup. Get the drift and bag it is an international event and everything we find will be counted towards the events tally of how much trash and debris is removed from our oceans world wide. We have chosen the surf park at Kawaihae because we know there is a lot to remove underwater as well as on the shoreline. To make it a little more fun we are conducting a garbage collecting contest. There will be prizes for the weirdest item found. The most collected. The most critter rescues, largest item found etc. To join, all you have to do is sign up and show up with your gear. Kohala divers will be providing tanks, airfills, refreshments, bags,gloves  and prizes!! We will have equipment for rent if you don't have your own and we will offer 10% off all rentals and purchases for all of our volunteers that day! If we have convinced you to be a collector urchin like us respond to this email with names of volunteers and  phone #. We will meet at 10AM at the shop and the event should be 2-3 hours then feel free to get a refill on the house and go do a fun dive! Hope we see you underwater or on shore!!
