 Its time for our annual reef and beach clean up day.Get the drift and bag it is Hawai'is' contribution to the international coastal cleanup which started in 1986. Join us for this event on September 20th.We will be cleaning in, around, and under the water. The Kohala Divers crew will be going to Mahukona to clean the beach and underwater, and as in years past we are offering free tank rentals and free fills to anyone who volunteers. Meet time will be 8:30 AM at Kohala Divers and we will have coffee and pastries at the shop. Pick up what you can underwater like fishing line and litter then spend a few minutes cleaning up the parking area. The turtles and other marine critters will thank you for helping in cleaning up there home! Last year 378,000 volunteers participated in cleanups around every major body of water around the globe.We will be documenting everything we find as this is a nationwide event to track progress in keeping the beaches clean. Call or come in the shop to sign up for this volunteer event. We have gloves, bags and tally sheets for everyone who joins our crew! | |

This months full moon dive will be on Saturday September 13th.
We are planning a two tank excursion starting with a pre sunset dive followed by our night dive. We are offering for the month of September $20 off the charter price when you mention the newsletter! Don't miss this one!! | |
