| Wal-mart Expands Drug Program |

Retail giant Wal-mart announced it will expand its discounted drug program to include 90-day supplies for some generic drugs, additional drugs for women, and many over-the-counter medications. This is the third phase of the company's program started in 2006.

| Pharmacies Sue Over Medi-Cal |

Starting July 1st, California pharmacies will face a 10% reduction in Medi-Cal reimbursements forcing many to make a tough decision: discontinue participating in the California Medicaid program or fill those prescriptions at a loss.
In response, two California independent pharmacies have joined a lawsuit to set aside the across-the-board cuts. Read more> |
