Greetings!
As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday I must admit to feeling a little disconcerted. In the past month or so several friends, business acquaintances and fellow bakers have passed on. All of these people were about my age. We all know that our physical lives will not last forever but these lost lives have hit home and forced me to think of my own mortality.
As I think of these people's lives I become thankful that I had met and known them. I began to realize that the points of contact that you have with others is what makes a life. That is your legacy. How important every day becomes!
I have met many people over my life and know they have all become a little part of me. I thank all of Huntington for welcoming my family 21 years ago. You have all become much more than customers, but part of my person. I hope in some little way my family's bakery business has touched you and made a celebration day (or any day) a little sweeter. We relish our connection with the community and thank everyone for allowing us to be part of your holiday. Please enjoy your days.
Sincerely, Rich Reinwald Reinwald's Bakery |
