| Greetings!
Today is Monday December 28, The bakery is closed. Last Monday, December 21 was two days before Christmas Eve so the bakery was open. The bakery was extremely busy Tuesday and Wednesday. We would like to thank everyone for letting us be part of your holiday celebrations. The entire staff worked very hard to make the wide variety of Holiday selections we are famous for. I truly appreciate their efforts. Without them Christmas at Reinwald's Bakery would never happen.
Of course Wednesday is New Years Eve, check below for our holiday hours. Perhaps this year is the one to stay close to home and celebrate with your loved ones. A perfect ending would be our Christmas Stollen. Compliments on our Stollen have come from as far as Texas. Unfortunately we ran out of Stollen on Christmas Eve; even I was without on Christmas Day. As I am writing this the last batch of the year is coming out of the oven. Boy does it smell good! Buy a stollen on Tuesday or Wednesday and you will receive a $2 coupon for use in the January.
By the time New Year's Eve comes around I am pretty exhausted. So I usually make my resolution at the change of seasons between summer and fall. Rather I use this day to reflect on the past year and be sure to count my blessings. This past year I had the opportunity to visit some not so well off countries. Not to make light of the problems that our country faces but we have so many blessings that I fear are unappreciated and viewed as entitlements.
As in any successful marriage you have to constantly work to protect it. I guess if we need a resolution that would be a good one. Let's resolve to work hard and participate to appreciate and protect our community, nation and world.
Happy New Year Sincerely,
Richard Reinwald
