Greetings!
We hope you are enjoying this holiday season, we have been very busy making cookies, cookies and more cookies. I received a short note from Ithica the other day saying they haven't tasted gingerbread like ours since their days in Germany. There is a short reminder of our holiday hours below. Since Christmas falls on a Thursday the bakery will be open Monday.
Carole and I feel very fortunate that a lot of our college kids and college graduates have asked if we could use their help. Of course we said, "come on in." The result is we will have 25 people behind the counter on Christmas Eve. When you come in you'll see some familiar faces. The kids enjoy seeing yours too!
Personally I love to see all the old employees at Christmas. I feel part of their lives and I hope their work experience here has had a positive impact. I am always amazed that just one semester away at college creates a new maturity. It is very gratifying to see this transformation to young adults.
We hope to see you over the next few days. If Carole or I don't see you personally please accept our wishes for a joyous Christmas and Hanukkah.
