900 cupcakes and counting...
 We would like to thank all of you who have participated in our efforts to raise money for children affected by cancer. Throughout the month of October Reinwald's has been donating 50 cents from each cupcake sold to Cancer Care for Kids. With almost 900 cupcakes sold in the first 3 weeks our total donation is nearing $450. With about a week left we would like to get that number up as high as we can. Thanks to an overwhelming response from the community our original goal of 500 cupcakes was topped in just two weeks. As a result we are setting a new goal of 1,200 cupcakes. If we meet our goal Reinwald's will donate an additional $150, bringing the total donation to $750! Cupcakes for a Cause is a national effort and locally supports Long Island children and teens with offices located in Woodbury, Ronkonkoma, and Oceanside.
The last day of this program is October 26. Be sure to come in to see our spooky Halloween cupcakes, the kids will love them!

 As we walk out of our houses in the morning to start our cars and we see our breath in the chilly air we know that the holidays are drawing near. For the Reinwald family this signifies the start of an age old tradition. Old World European cookie recipes have been a part of our family for generations.
