Dear Friends and Colleagues,
We hope you had an enjoyable and relaxing summer. Our thoughts go out to those of you affected by Hurricane Irene.
Both of us had the opportunity to travel out of the country for our vacations (Italy and France) and enjoyed listening to and trying to understand new languages. We appreciated the challenges of attempting to speak another language and learning the correct stress and intonation patterns! |

Product Updates
We are excited to announce the September 19th launch of the RULES BY THE SOUND (RBTS) online platform! There is a yearly subscription of $100/person (that is under $9/month). Listen to all 63 sound-loaded stories, recorded one sentence at a time, and then the story in its entirety. Your students can read pronunciation tips and watch a video for each sound. They can listen to each sentence and then record their own, with an option to compare their production with the native speaker's. Initial feedback from our field-testers has been overwhelmingly positive! This is great way to reinforce the stories in the RULES BY THE SOUND book. You will be able to preview it before purchasing.
Our introductory rate of $75/year per person is offered for any subscriptions registered by September 30th. Tell your students about this exciting new training tool! Site licenses are available for classroom use.
