If you understand karma,
the fact that everything has a cause (including death)
and emptiness,
the fact that nothing has a fixed nature of it's own (including death),
death is no longer an inevitability.
You just need to know the cause of death and the cause of immortality.
The cause of death is doing what our culture instructs us:
take care of yourself, all the time.
The cause of immortality is doing what our lineage instructs us:
take care of others all the time.
Meditate for the sake of all and
thus create the causes for your own realization.
