Trying to keep us all updated about the many goings on at  

The Yoga Place.

This Saturday, 10:30-1PM  PETER RIZZO MASTER CLASS

     JOIN US FOR AND PREPARE FOR A RELAXED AND ENERGIZED MAYFEST BY TAKING A CLASS WITH PETER.  HE IS A GIFTED AND KIND TEACHER AND WE ARE DELIGHTED TO HAVE HIM WITH US ONCE AGAIN.

$30 OR BY DONATION.

MONDAYS AT SEVEN

(7:10PM) 

 

  Ali Wassick has initiated a NEW EVENING CLASS AT 7:10 MONDAY.  Just think, you can practice meditation from 615 and then move into an evening yoga experience.  Meditation is free.  Try it.

June 12th, 2011

 

MEDITATION MINI-RETREAT:  11AM TO 3PM.  Guided by group members, we will explore walking meditation, eating meditation, mindful moving(yoga-like), sitting meditation, body scan and more.  Please join us.  It is free or donations accepted.

JUNE 19TH, 2011. 

 

SUMMER SOLSTICE CELEBRATION.  Join us at the Bennington Monument to practice sun salutations, welcoming in the summer with open arms.  Led by Bethany Boulger.  Free.  Bring your mat.  (If it rains, proceed to the Yoga Place for indoor practice)

 

5. 

NOONTIME YOGA.

 

Bethany Boulger has initiated Noon Hour Yoga classes   

Mondays at noon and Fridays at noon.   

These one hour classes are cost effective at $10/class.

 

A good solid yoga and meditation practice is becoming more and more pertinent in this world of rising and confusing medical costs.  Take charge of your own health by practicing yoga.  Research shows that just one class/week enhances health and well-being and is preventive of illness.  But.  As the Buddha said, don't believe me, try it out for yourself and see what your body and mind discover.

At The Yoga Place, we believe that yoga is an adventuresome method for exploring and expanding our inner view of ourselves and our perception of our interconnectedness in the world as well as a method for strengthening and bringing flexibility to our bodies, our minds and our spirits. Most importantly, we believe that life is good and that practice on the yoga mat offers us opportunities to open to new, more joyful ways of living our lives off the yoga mat.
