Dear Ones:

Gratitude to Matt, Vermont Arts Exchange cartoonist, poorly reproduced above.  I hope to someday hone my
e-skills.

I hope you are as excited as I am to be hearing more and more about the deep benefits of yoga, pilates and taichi.

What's Up at the Yoga Place?

Well, while Jane is away getting her hip resurfaced:  Tracey Forest will be teaching the Monday morning mixed level yoga class.
Donna Myers will be teaching Very Beginner Yoga on Monday evenings and also managing the Yoga Place in my absence
Alice McGovern will teach Weds Mornings MIxed Level Class and The popular Thursday morning 730am class.

Donna Myers has begun to offer Thai Yoga Massage - please spea to her about scheduling a massage!

We are hopeful that we will soon have Tai Chi offered by Gina Grillo who has developed her own school  She is thinking of offering 10-1130 beginner's class on Tuesdays
followed by a more advanced class from 1130-1230.  Stay tuned for definite information.

Remember that Pilates, offered MWF at 830-930, is a perfect complement to a strong yoga practice.
Travel blog.
Mary OConnell and Jane are in Chennai right now.  We hope to be able to include a few photos in a week or so.  OUr flights on the Indian airline,
Jet Airways, were so peaceful and restful, that we arrived at midnight completely rested and refreshed, slept well and took a long
meandering walk this morning which left us happily lost.  Finding our way back to our hotel and our room which overlooks
tiled low buildings with palmtrees and mangoes providing massive quantities of green.  This is a laid back city with courteous
people, wide streets and lots of laundry hanging from the roofs.  The air is pretty clean and there is a constant hum of horns beeping along with
birds singing.
We had an exotic breakfast of various idlies and chutnies, masala potatoes and other delicious things.  THe most exotic to me
was the red beet juice served beside the pineapple juice.
This afternoon we hope to make it to the beach St Thomas Basilica and maybe Ayurvedic Massage..
In two days we will transfer to the Apollo Specialty Hospital Platinum Suite and on the morning of 4/18, I will have my surgery.
Please hold me in your hearts on Thursday evening the 17th around 9pm and wish me well (as you see fit of course)

Wish us well on this adventure and be sure to continue with your own.

Sincerely,
 Your Jane
