Budget Deal on the Horizon?
The Governor and Legislative leaders collectively announced a budget deal framework. The details have not been made public, and they will meet on Monday to finalize the details.
The Governor's Press staff released the following statement:
I wanted to let you know that the Governor and Legislative leaders have reached the framework of an agreement on the budget. They will work through the details over the weekend and hope to come to a final agreement when they reconvene Monday.
We will provide more detail as they becomes available.
