Have a great networking day! |
Today's Marketing Tip:
Never ever just give your business card to anyone. They must ask for it.
Be open, credible and likeable. Ask questions and be sincere about getting
to know people. I must admit I was surprised by this. I have heard that you
should give your business card to everyone as a marketing tool. The
effective way is to talk and connect with people first. Ask them what they
do? What they love about what they do and then they will ask you.
At this point you can give them your card. Remember this makes sense
when you look at the real purpose of networking. Connect and build the
right relationships. It is hard to do this when you are thinking of yourself
first and giving your card to someone.
Listening is key to helping people with a need. I practice this in my
custom gifting business and coach my clients on this as well. We have
strong relationships with many respected professionals in our area.
When I hear a need I pass on a referral to them to help fill that need.
Remember Givers Gain! Keep listening!

Redbook shares 10 Hottest Health Trends
10 wellness trends that everyone is buzzing about -
In the Health Trends it recommends a detox. I have done this and am about to detox again
after my holiday extravaganza of food, coffee and alcohol. If you can devote 7 days to
cleanse your body I highly recommend doing so. It is a very wise health decision. The detox
I use is from Market America and Nannette Kohnhorst is my personal advisor. She is wonderful
and full of health information. I take their anti-stress formula and it DOES make a difference!

A New Year for new beginnings!
We all have dreams, hopes, and aspirations. But how do we get there? So many roads,
so little time. Which one is right? The best way to find out is to listen to your inner voice.
Your voice is the wisest, and the strongest. For it knows you; loves you like no other. This
notion and the ability to know that tomorrow brings another day, another chance will always
lead to amazing opportunities and beyond.
This quote is something to think about as we approach a new year. A new year filled with new
opportunities. It is wonderful to think about what we want. What life would be like if our dream
were a reality. Remember that everything you do must come from within. Listen to your voice.
Accomplish resolutions for the right reasons. Let your voice guide you and time will give you the
result that you want. Best wishes, I hope you achieve them! Here's to our fabulous life!
That's a toast to our dreams and having the power to listen to our inner voice.
May your New Year be filled with accomplishments and the power of positive dreams and
aspirations!

What lesson's just as important as readin', 'ritin', and 'rithmetic?
If 10,000 Biter kids each recycle one aluminum can,
we'll save enough energy to power up a 100-watt bulb for 23 years,
24 hours a day. It's possible for an aluminum can to get recycled,
turned into a new can, and be back on the shelf in 60 days.
The Bite Recyclin', of course. Teach littl'uns greener ways - just as important
as the traditional fundamentals - with a regular trip to the recycling
center.
The Benefits
Givin' to receive. Dropping off bottles and cans for recycling means
the planet gets a breather and the kids get a little extra cash.
Teachin' good eco-habits. Making recycling a regular part of their lives
is great practice for a lifelong environmentality - and saves landfill
space and resources (using recycled aluminum, for example, uses 95%
less energy than making cans from new ore). Personally Speaking When he was little, Toshio used to shamelessly pilfer cans from his
neighbors' trash bins so he could collect the cash-in change - a boy's
gotta make a living somehow...
Wanna Try?
Take kids to the recycling center regularly (often in your supermarket's
parking lot). While you're at it, talk to them about how recycling pays for
the planet.
Kids Recycling Zone - one-stop shop for kids to learn about recycling.
Story of Stuff - this 20-minute free web video is a great illuminator of
what happens to trash when we chuck it - not just for kids, either.
"Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life"
What do you gals and guys think of this one? Spend a day
analyzing your thoughts. You like me will come to find that you
can positively talk your way out of any negative situation. It's
mind over matter. After all isn't that what our best friends do for us.
We come to them hopeless, frustrated, worried and then they make us
see the brighter side of things! Don't they. We do that for them too!
Chocolate does a good job of this too. But we can only have so much
chocolate right! Hope all your resolution wishes are starting out and going
great. Love yourself and think positive thoughts!
Remember:
Love yourself
Take time to savor every ounce of chocolate (or half ounce)
Laugh and laugh it feels so good! I am a very serious person.
I tend to not take the time to loosen up and laugh. My husband is
super funny and when he quips with a one liner that tickles my funny
bone oh my gosh I laugh so hard. It feels good to let go!
A smile is the best gift you could ever give
A long race is won by going one step at a time
Here's to a zestful life!! We all deserve it!
Have a Fabulous week we will see you next time!
Blessings!
