In Memoriam :

Steve Shearing, barn manager of Mountaintop Ranch for many years, friend and Horseman Extradornaire passed away May 30,2012 from stomach cancer. One of the last things he did was watch the Kentucky Derby and told a hospital nurse that he was the last one to ride A Classic Cody:)

(now he is riding him through the heavens)

Steve Shearing

Tis A Cody Chicklet: July 4,1992-June 6,2012

was humanely put down because of a ruptured deep digital ligament.

This picture was taken just one month ago at a Judged Pleasure Ride. She was always such a "ribbon hog"

Could do no wrong...Queen of the barn!

After this ride, I went to visit Steve in the hospital for the last time where we watched the Kentucky Derby together:)

" The story of our lives are written moment to moment-

in how we loved...in the day to day things we've shared...and in the many ways,we've touched each others hearts."

Wishing to all of us who knew and rode and loved ...the comfort that our very special memories will bring us now.

Tis A Cody Chicklet

What we see will last only a short time, but what we cannot see will last Forever.
