Nikita and Belle

    We hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving weekend. Our gang had most of the day off ( except for feeding and cleaning stalls of course) and got together for a huge feast!

         Friday was back to business as usual. For the past 90 days, we have had a very talented Apprentice with us from Holland. She will be leaving shortly but I wanted to film a Mountaintop Minute with her. Nikita chose to use a horse that she has been riding from start to finish. Belle is a wonderful 10 year old appaloosa mare who had never been ridden. Nikita started working with her and she has become a wonderful riding horse.( Sometimes I wish I had her) It proves that training any horse, no matter the age, from scratch is much better than having to retrain.
