We are gearing up for our clinic and I wanted to welcome everyone who has signed up to attend! We are praying for sunny weather in the mid 70's with no Wind!
I sincerely hope that it will be an enjoyable time for everyone and horse education abounds!
For those of you that have not sent your payment....I would appreciate that all payments be sent in the form of a check made out to Mountaintop Ranch and mailed to 1030 Mountaintop Ranch Rd Elkton, VA . 22827 This will save alot of time on the morning of the event . Here is the event information: We are on a mountain top! weather can be cooler with more wind than in the valley...so please dress appropriately and in layers. The clinic will go on rain or shine We are at least a 20 minute drive from the nearest small town. Please bring your supplies....bug spray, drinks,snacks, food, chairs etc... We will have some chairs available...but to be safe...please bring your lawn chairs...our deep well water is very pure and better than bottled...we have plenty of water...but bring your own cups, H2O bottles etc. We have no food or drinks available other than lunches that are provided for the riders! ATTENTION AUDITORS! We will glady contact the caterer and have lunch for you also....the menu is: freshly made chicken salad on croissant, side of pasta salad and a fresh fruit salad, homemade oatmeal cookie and lemonade. the cost of lunch is $10. please contact me by email ASAP if you want to order lunch! The clinic will start promptly at 10 AM. The gate to the ranch will open at 8:30 AM. If you have never been to ranch, please go to our web site and follow the directions on our site. The ranch covers over 350 acres and has 2 main entrances 4 miles apart...your GPS may take you to the wrong location. Please put your vehicle in 4 Wheel Drive before coming up the ranch road ( if you feel like you might need help coming up the road...please contact me...help is available) Riders...please bring your own hay, tack and horse supplies( unless the horse your are riding is already at the ranch...then just bring your own tack) Please be prepared to scoop poop! Leave the barn and stalls in the same manner as you found them. ( we have plenty of wheel barrels and pooper scoopers) Our apprentices and trainers will be happy to assist you in any way they can........ Last but not least....Have a GREAT DAY!...and visit our foal field before you leave..we might be foaling the day of the event! |
