a training techinique for practicing horses to ride by cattle safely

This week I am sending a video made as we were in the process of training horses to cattle...this is not a practiced video. I was filming as we were riding...so the video may make you a bit dizzy!?!?!??

But....there are some very good tips on the video...I know that riding up on cattle on your trail rides can be a very stressful situation. We had a stressful situation with Orlando, a horse in the video about a month ago. After more training to build his self confidence, we took him out again ...this time...in a training environment and were very pleased with the results.

Be very careful if you do not know how your horse reacts to cattle....putting some time or money into training is always better than a trip to the hospital!
