Rory learning to take directions "in hand"

Today I would like to show you some work we have done with a precocious yearling that was brought to the Ranch. Rory was considered a "bad boy" at his boarding facility. He often was considered too rambunctious to handle safely. Rory also decided that if he didn't get his way then all he would have to do is rear up and everyone would leave him alone.
This video was taken about 45 days after Rory came in for some MANNERS!
We love Rory and it has been so much fun working with him. His owner is so happy with him that she plans to show him this spring and summer in "IN HAND" classes.
Rory is a typical example of a smart youngster getting out of hand. Instead of being a little monster, he is now fun to be around, a joy to work with, respectful, loving and very "pet" oriented.
