HELP US HELP MORE PRISONERS!
Thanks to legions of dedicated volunteers and an avalanche of book donations, we have the capacity to send out nearly 50% more books in 2008 than in 2007.
Unfortunately our bank account is not growing at the same pace. Right now, money for postage is the only thing that limits our ability to help prisoners. Please help us continue serving prisoners at this record pace by making a donation today!
Every $3 lets us send books to another prisoner. Large or small, your donation will make a difference in the lives of the prisoners we serve!

| 2nd Annual Community Book Drive |

 PBP is planning it's second annual Community Book Drive in conjunction with the City Mission Society and Better World Books. Last year we collected 20,000 books in one day. With your help we can beat that record!
Here's how you can help:
- Run a book drive at your school, company, church, neighborhood or elsewhere.
- Go through your bookshelves and find books to donate
- Volunteer on the day of the book drive. Even better, bring a group of friends and family to volunteer.
- Volunteer to be on our planning committee, starting now.

| Donate Plywood and Help us Organize the Bookroom! |

A very talented carpenter has offered to make custom bookshelves for our office. We just need the wood to build them. If you have plywood to donate, you will be helping us bring much needed efficiency and organization to our little book room!
Here's what we need:
- 3/4 ply.
- Paint grade or better
- 4'x8' or bigger sheets
- Must not be warped
